Optoplast, a Star Connect Group company founded in 1988 and a leading manufacturer of connectivity solutions and passive components for fiber optic networks, announces the acquisition of 100% of the shares of MGM Industry, a company based in the province of Naples that specializes in the sale, service, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems, with extensive experience in fiber optic and copper installations.

With this transaction, MGM Industry officially becomes part of Optoplast – Star Connect Group, strengthening the Group's ability to offer the market an increasingly comprehensive portfolio of solutions, from the production of advanced connectivity to optoelectronic equipment for next-generation networks.

The acquisition is part of a broader industrial, technological, and commercial strengthening project aimed at consolidating Optoplast's position as a national leader in the fiber optic connectivity and optoelectronic equipment and systems sector.
